JSW Energy, Tata Motors and Welspun India to see some action today

JSW Energy has signed a contract with Senvion India, a leading manufacturer of wind turbines, for procurement of 591 MW of onshore wind turbines for the company's under-construction pipeline of renewable energy projects. The supply of the turbines from Senvion will start by the second quarter of CY2022. The turbines will produce enough green energy to meet the annual electricity requirements of more than 450,000 households in the country.

Tata Motors has expanded its product range in the country with the unveiling of its sub-compact SUV Punch. The company plans to launch the model on October 20, and has commenced bookings on its website and sales network across the country for Rs 21,000. The Punch comes with a 1.2 litre petrol engine mated to both manual and automatic transmissions. The model comes with SUV attributes like tall seating, high ground clearance, 370 mm water wading capability and traction feature to aid recovery in off road situations.

Welspun India in collaboration with DuPont Biomaterials has launched a new home textile collection, including bath towels and bed sheets, made with bio-based materials. The collection was developed to meet a growing demand for home textile products that not only bring desired performance but also are sustainable. The new global collection expands the future of sustainable textiles in the important area of home care, where innovation is of utmost importance.

Rail Vikas Nigam (RVNL) has entered into an memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Tata Steel in connection with implementation of infrastructure projects either on nomination basis as a deposit work or through the special purpose vehicle (SPV) route subject to bankability of the SPV project, execution of definitive agreement and management approval.

Info Edge (India) has approved the investment of about Rs 15 crore, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, in 4B Networks. This investment is in exercise of a right available to the company to subscribe 4,245 additional securities for an amount upto Rs 15 crore. As part of company's strategic investments, the investment would help the company to strengthen its offering in the real estate segment by providing a new platform to real estate industry professionals to conduct their business efficiently.

HFCL has bagged an order amounting to Rs 287.96 crore from RailTel Corporation of India, a Mini Ratna (Category-I) Central Public Sector Undertaking (CPSU) of Ministry of Railways, for setting up of Secured Optical Packet Switched Network for Defense Forces. The Secured Optical Packet Switched Network shall enhance the security of applications and provide latest state of the art technology, which will drive the security requirement of Defense Forces.

Max Healthcare Institute (MHIL) is further fortifying its presence and expanding its bed capacity in NCR region by addition of two new hospitals of around 500 beds each in Gurugram. This will significantly ramp up its existing footprint in NCR region and help serve the healthcare needs of ever-expanding communities in Gurugram.The hospitals, once operational, will also cater to economically weaker section of the society at concessional rates.
