Physical Rubber prices witnessed improvement on Tuesday due to an improved domestic demand, despite hopes of sharp improvement in production and arrivals in the days ahead. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety firmed up to Rs 169.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 169/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety gained to Rs 167.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 167/ kg.
In the futures market, October delivery fell to Rs 174.30 compared to its previous closing of Rs 174.58 on the Indian Commodity Exchange Limited (ICEX).
