Futures & Options (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 8003856.28 crore on October 6 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 86622696.

Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 35,284.37 crore, Stock Futures Rs 81,860.25 crore and Index Options Rs 7636104.33 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 2,50,607.33 crore.
