Futures & Options (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 3755860.46 crore on October 8 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 40300340.

Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 26,213.93 crore, Stock Futures Rs 80,234.15 crore and Index Options Rs 3356903.13 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 2,92,509.25 crore.
