Congress delegation to meet President Ram Nath Kovind over Lakhimpur Kheri incident

Congress delegation to meet President Ram Nath Kovind tomorrow morning to discuss the Lakhimpur Kheri incident and present a detailed memorandum of facts. The Seven-member delegation will comprise Rahul Gandhi, AK Antony, Mallikarjun Kharge, Ghulam Nabi Azad, Priyanka Vadra, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury and KC Venugopal.

The Congress has been demanding the immediate dismissal of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra whose son Ashish has been named in the FIR and is accused of mowing down farmers in Lakhimpur Kheri, and strict action against the accused in the killing of farmers.
