Gold futures finished near highest level for a week on Tuesday, marking first gain in four sessions followed by the International Monetary Fund’s forecast of a sluggish momentum in global economic growth for this year. Besides, a slip in dollar and worries ahead to US inflation data also buoyed the upside momentum of the yellow metal.
Gold futures for December eased by 0.2% or $3.6 to settle at $1,759.30 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. While, spot gold was little changed at $1,760.26 per ounce.
