Gold futures traded higher in early deals of Monday, rebounding after previous sessional hefty sell off. Weakness in dollar and the easing bond yields buoyed the investment appeal of the greenback denominated and non-interest yielding bullion. Meanwhile, the yellow metal for the most active contract registered a gain of 0.6% for the week, biggest weekly rise since the week ended September 6.
Gold futures for December lifted by 0.1% at $1,770.50 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. While, spot gold climbs by 0.2% to $1,770.26 per ounce.
