Gold futures finished lower for second straight session on Monday, encumbered by the solidity in the US Treasury Bond yields. Albeit, accelerating oil rates spurred inflation fears capping some loss in the bullion.

Gold futures for December retreated by $2.6 or 0.2% at $1,765.70 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. While, spot gold was down 0.1 percent at $1,765.14 per ounce.
