Reliance Industries’ (RIL) telecom arm -- Reliance Jio Infocomm (Jio) has added 6,49,754 customers in August 2021. Following this, the company’s total customer base has increased to 44.38 crore with market share of 37.40% in terms of wireless subscribers as on August 31, 2021.

Reliance Industries is India’s largest private sector company. The company’s activities span hydrocarbon exploration and production, petroleum refining and marketing, petrochemicals, retail and 4G digital services.
