Physical Rubber prices witnessed some improvement on Friday tracking fresh buying from the tyre and non-tyre sectors, while supply concerns on account of heavy rains in the major producing regions also kept the sentiments bullish.

Spot prices for RSS-4 variety remained unchanged at Rs 172/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety firmed to Rs 170/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 169.50/ kg.
