Reliance Industries’ JV launches first mobility station in Navi Mumbai

Reliance Industries (RIL) and energy supermajor BP’s joint venture (JV) -- Reliance BP Mobility (RBML) has launched its first Jio-bp branded mobility station (basically a fuel pump) at Navde, Navi Mumbai. Working in a challenging pandemic-affected environment, Jio-bp is bringing a network of world-class mobility station offering multiple fuelling choices to the customers.

Jio-bp will provide an unmatched and distinctive customer experience. The petrol pump will offer multiple fuel choices, including EV charging infrastructure. RBML has already received the marketing authorisation for transportation fuels. In the joint venture, Reliance holds 51% stake, while BP hold a 49% stake.

Reliance Industries is India’s largest private sector company. The company’s activities span hydrocarbon exploration and production, petroleum refining and marketing, petrochemicals, retail and 4G digital services.
