Physical Rubber prices extended gains on Friday on account of supply concerns following heavy rains in major producing state Kerala, though hopes of higher imports likely to restrict sharp gains in rubber market. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety gained to Rs 174.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 174/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety firmed to Rs 171.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 171/ kg.
