Physical Rubber prices witnessed improvement on Saturday, driven by supply concerns due to heavy rains in major producing state Kerala. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety gained to Rs 175/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 174.50/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety firmed to Rs 172/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 171.50/ kg.
In the futures market, November delivery gained to Rs 174.80 compared to its previous closing of Rs 174.33 on the Indian Commodity Exchange Limited (ICEX).
