ABB gains on completing divestment of mechanical power transmission division to RBC Bearings

ABB India is currently trading at Rs. 2064.05, up by 2.75 points or 0.13% from its previous closing of Rs. 2061.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2073.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2142.00 and Rs. 2053.25 respectively. So far 12845 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2167.55 on 01-Nov-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 870.00 on 03-Nov-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2167.55 and Rs. 1888.85 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 44204.09 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 75.00%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 10.45% and 14.55% respectively.

ABB has completed divestment of mechanical power transmission division (Dodge) to RBC Bearings for $ 2.9 billion in cash. With the divestment, ABB has completed the first of the three previously announced exits from divisions.

It is an important milestone in ABB’s strategy of active portfolio management and further strengthens its balance sheet.
