Manipur Congress leaders meet Sonia Gandhi

Ahead of the 2022 assembly elections, Manipur leaders today met Congress Interim President Sonia Gandhi at her residence in Delhi. Congress Legislative Party (CLP) leaders, working president, many other MLAs, Senior Observer Jairam Ramesh, and AICC in charge Bhakt Charan Das were present in the meeting.

Regarding the coming elections in the state and the overall political situation was discussed in the meeting. All India Congress Committee (AICC) in charge of Manipur Bhakt Charan Das said that the meeting was very cordial. ‘Everyone gave their viewpoint and it was listed by the high command’, he added. The elections are due to be held next year in the state.
