15 Nov 2021 Evaluate

With an important step to further improve the functioning of the central government, all 77 ministers in the cabinet led by PM Narendra Modi were divided into eight different groups.

In the 8 new groups of ministers, the authority of coordinating each group will be given to a senior minister. Furthermore, two new ministers, some old ministers and some state ministers will also be part of each group. Recently few meetings were held with union council of ministers chaired by PM Modi to review the work of ministers. During the meetings, suggestions were also sought from all the ministers in order to make decisions in public welfare. Meanwhile, the possibilities for improvement in the functioning of the ministries were also discussed. PM also laid special emphasis on the better use of technology in all ministries. The central government is planning to rope in young professionals, make the best-use of technology for project monitoring and seek suggestions from retiring officials.
