Tata Motors, Zomato and Infosys to see some action today

Tata Motors is looking to establish vehicle scrappage centres under a franchise set up with the first one expected to become operational in the first quarter of the next fiscal. The company earlier this year had joined hands with the Gujarat government to support setting up of a vehicle scrappage facility at Ahmedabad in Gujarat.

Zomato is reportedly in talks to invest as much as $500 million in Grofers. The proposed deal marks an extension of its food delivery battle with Swiggy into the so-called ultrafast commerce segment, which is attracting a slug of investor capital globally.

Infosys has entered into a strategic collaboration with Bloomberg Media, a leader in global business news, to create the Bloomberg Digital Economy Index. Through the partnership, Infosys harnesses analytics and AI to integrate the Index experience on Bloomberg Media’s digital platforms and Bloomberg TV. The Index will launch in 2022.

Steel Authority of India has supplied around 50,000 tonnes of steel for the Purvanchal Expressway in Uttar Pradesh.

Bharat Dynamics has signed a contract for design, development, manufacture, supply and support of CMDS worth Rs 171 crore approximately. The order book position of the company as on November 17, 2021 is Rs 8991 crore. The company has received new orders of worth Rs 1331 crore during the current financial year.

Shashijit Infraprojects has been awarded with various work orders to construct various industrial projects from various reputed clients. The company has bagged order for construction of Industrial Shed & Road work of Elektromag Devices at Vapi, Gujarat for amount of Rs 3-3.50 crore, the company has secured second order for construction of Factory Building of Modison Metals at Vapi, Gujarat for amount of Rs 5.50-6 crore.

Jindal Drilling & Industries has acquired an Offshore Jack-up Rig 'Jindal Supreme' from Venus Drilling for $16.75 million, consequent upon receipt of requisite approval from the seller. The said Rig is currently operating under contract with Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC).

Artson Engineering has secured order of Rs 8.60 crore. The company has received order from Tata Projects for construction of Tanks at their ONGC Kakinada Site. Nature of order is unit rate contract.
