The FIIs on Thursday were net buyers in equities while they were net sellers in debt segments, according to data released by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 2062.10 crore against gross sell of Rs 1728.40 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 333.70 crore in equities on September 22, 2011.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1756.60 crore with gross sales of Rs 1763.70 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 7.10 crore in debt on September 22, 2011.
