Tata Communications trades higher on the BSE

Tata Communications is currently trading at Rs. 1282.00, up by 41.80 points or 3.37% from its previous closing of Rs. 1240.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1246.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1293.55 and Rs. 1238.50 respectively. So far 963721 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1539.95 on 19-Oct-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 887.15 on 22-Dec-2020.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has imposed penalty on Tata Communications Payment Solutions (TCPSL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Communications, for deficiencies in regulatory compliance. A penalty of Rs 2 crore has been imposed on TCPSL. The penalty was for non-compliant with the directions issued by RBI on White Label ATM deployment targets and net-worth requirement.
