Ramco Cements has been conferred with the FIVE STAR award for its two mines viz. Melavenkateswarapuram Limestone Mine, RR Nagar and Pudupalayam & Periyangalur Limestone Mine, Ariyalur, during the 5th National Conclave on Mines & Minerals. The Pudupalayam & Periyangalur Limestone Mine, Ariyalur had earlier won the award in 2017-18 & 2018-19. Ramco Cements is the only company in the entire state of Tamil Nadu to receive this prestigious award for the year 2019-20.
