Voltaire Leasing & Finance declines as SEBI imposes Rs 1.15 crore fine for fraudulent trading

Voltaire Leasing & Finance is currently trading at Rs. 27.00, down by 0.50 points or 1.82% from its previous closing of Rs. 27.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 28.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 28.00 and Rs. 27.00 respectively.

The BSE group 'X' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 28.00 on 26-Nov-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 17.80 on 04-Mar-2021.

Markets regulator SEBI has imposed total fine of Rs 1.15 crore on Voltaire Leasing and Finance, its officials, one entity and eleven individuals for fraudulent trading in the shares of the firm.

They violated Prohibition of Fraudulent and Unfair Trade Practices norms. The investigation period was between August 2014-July 2015.

Voltaire Leasing & Finance is engaged in the business of finance and trading, hire purchase, leasing and to finance leasing operations of all kinds, purchasing, selling, hiring or letting on hire all kinds of plant & machinery and equipment.
