29 Nov 2021 Evaluate

Copper futures traded higher on Monday, even after the identification of strong variant of Covid-19, named Omicron by the WHO, was first discovered in South Africa. Tight supplies in the global markets supported copper prices’ uptrend.

Copper futures for December delivery gained $0.0655 or 1.53% at $4.3490 a pound on the Comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange.
