V-Mart Retail moves up on opening one new store in Haryana

V-Mart Retail is currently trading at Rs. 3847.70, up by 145.85 points or 3.94% from its previous closing of Rs. 3701.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 3779.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 3868.25 and Rs. 3734.30 respectively. So far 1416 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 4620.00 on 19-Oct-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2150.00 on 08-Dec-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 4036.00 and Rs. 3639.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 7531.32 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 46.44%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 43.81% and 9.75% respectively.

V-Mart Retail has opened one new store in Haryana in the month of November 2021. With this the total number of stores now stands at 376 stores as at November 30, 2021. Earlier, in month of October 2021, the company had opened seven new stores, four in the state of Uttar Pradesh, two in Bihar and one in Uttarakhand.

V-Mart Retail is one of the pioneers in setting up stores across various small Indian towns and cities. The company primarily operates in Tier-II and Tier-III cities, with a chain of ‘value retail’ departmental stores offering apparels, general merchandise and kirana, catering to the entire family.
