Infosys, Maruti Suzuki India and Mahindra Logistics to see some action today

Infosys has extended its strategic collaboration with Proximus, Belgium’s leading digital services and communications solutions provider, to digitally transform, develop, and maintain their IT applications with leading AI and automation solutions. Through this engagement, Infosys will support Proximus’ key digital initiatives, IT transformation programs and provide structural cost reduction, in a sustainable manner.

Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) has witnessed a 3 per cent drop in production in November. The auto major reported total production of 1,45,560 units in November compared to 1,50,221 units in November 2020. The shortage of electronic components had a minor impact on the production of vehicles during the month.

Mahindra Logistics and LOGOS, a leading Asia Pacific logistics specialist, have entered into a long-term lease agreement for 1.4 million square feet (mmsf) of warehouse facilities at the LOGOS Luhari Logistics Estate in Delhi-NCR. The transaction represents India’s largest warehousing facility in a single park. Under the agreement, LOGOS will develop three Grade-A warehouses totaling 1.4 mmsf for MLL at the LOGOS Luhari Logistics Estate.

Tata Power Company’s wholly owned subsidiary -- Tata Power Solar Systems has received Letter of Award (LoA) from Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) to build 100 MW EPC Solar project along with 120 MWh Utility Scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). The total contract value of the project is approximately Rs 945 crore.

JMC Projects (India) has secured new orders of Rs 1,795 crore. The company has received first order of Rs 1,085 crore for Water Supply Projects in India and another order is for B&F Projects in India of Rs 710 crore.  These new orders will help the company to further consolidate its position in high growth businesses. Its order inflows for the current financial year (FY22) has crossed Rs 9,750 crore, giving company confidence to deliver good growth in the coming quarters.

Aegis Logistics and Aegis Vopak Terminals (formerly known as Aegis LPG Logistics (Pipavav)) (AVTL) have entered into a business transfer agreement dated November 30, 2021 wherein the Company has agreed to transfer the liquid storage units of the Company located at Haldia Dock Complex, Mouza-Chiranjibpur, Dist. Midnapore (Purba Medinipur) (Haldia Undertaking), by way of a slump sale, as a 'going concern' to AVTL.

Tata Motors has reported 25 percent rise in total sales to 62,192 units in November 2021 as compared to 49,650 units the same month last year. The company posted a 21 percent increase in its domestic wholesales at 58,073 as compared with 47,859 units in the year-ago period. Its passenger vehicle sales in the domestic market stood at 29,778 units in November, as compared to 21,641 units in the same month last year. Commercial vehicle sales in the domestic market stood at 32,245 units, up 15 percent from 27,982 units in November 2020.
