Minda Industries, Fino Payments bank and Bank of Maharashtra to see some action today

Minda Industries has received approval from board of directors for expansion of two-wheel Alloy wheel capacity by 2.0 million wheels per annum at its existing Supa Plant in Maharashtra. The current expansion is part of the two phased expansion planned by the company at the time of foraying in 2W Alloys wheel business. The current capacities are now already booked with incremental demand coming from leading OEMs requiring company to further expand its capacities. The total 2W Alloy wheel capacity of Uno Minda group shall be 5.6 million wheels per annum after completion of this expansion. The additional capital expenditure for the aforesaid capacity expansion will be Rs 190 crore. The expanded facilities are expected to commence operations by quarter ending March 2023.

Fino Payments Bank has witnessed good growth across key parameters during the first half of the current fiscal year and is expecting to grow at about 30-35 per cent in terms of revenue on a long-term basis.

Bank of Maharashtra (BoM) has announced a cut in interest rate on home loans to an all-time low of 6.40 per cent, from the existing 6.80 per cent under the 'Retail Bonanza-Festive Dhamaka' offer. Besides, the bank has also lowered interest rate on car loans to 6.80 per cent, from 7.05 per cent in line with market competition.

Godrej Properties has acquired 100% issued and paid-up share capital of Yerwada Developers (YDPL). Pursuant to the said acquisition, YDPL has become Wholly-Owned Subsidiary of the Company with effect from December 09, 2021.

IIFL Securities has entered into a Share Purchase agreement (SPA) on December 10, 2021 for the sale of its entire stake (21.47%) in Giskard Datatech (Trendlyne), an associate of the Company, to IIFL Capital Enhance Fund (AIF Category II). Upon completion of formalities under the SPA, Trendlyne will cease to be an associate of the Company.

Dr. Reddy's Laboratories has received approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) for ANDA 207577 (VeraRing). The company is evaluating further steps in relation to this product.

Shreeji Translogistics is planning to expand the cargo business and to enter into temperature-controlled logistics (Temperature controlled logistics specializes in the storage, preservation and transportation of cargo that is sensitive to atmospheric conditions and needs to maintain a certain temperature. This is imperative for many pharmaceutical products) i.e., the company plans to own refrigerated freezer trucks and arrange for the transportation of the customers products from point of sourcing through Reefer vehicles or ambient distribution vehicles.
