In continuation to its communication dated March 26, 2021, intimating transaction closure of stake sale in Edelweiss Wealth Management business (EWM) which also contained an option to the Company to increase its stake in EWM. Edelweiss Financial Services has informed that Edel Finance Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, has acquired 5.28% stake in Edelweiss Securities, an Associate of the Company. In this regard, the company enclosed a press release on December 13, 2021 titled ‘Edelweiss Group increases its stake in its Wealth Management Business to ~ 44%’.
