Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC) has sold 26,80,000 shares representing 4.51% of the paid-up share capital of Ansal Housing (Ansal), which includes sale of 21,50,000 shares representing 3.62% of the paid-up share capital of Ansal done on December 15, 2021. Earlier, the company on December 14, 2021 had invoked 50 lakh shares pledged by Ansal Housing to recover its dues from the company.
HDFC offers a whole gamut of products like loans to individuals, loans to corporates, construction finance, and lease rental discounting. The financial conglomerate has subsidiaries and associates in insurance (general and life), asset management, education finance, venture funds and banking services.
