Physical Rubber prices witnessed some weakness on Wednesday, due to lack of fresh enquiries from the industrial sectors. Besides, buyer resistance in the market due to worries of accelerated spread of Omicron corona-virus variant and ahead of Christmas holiday mood also weighed on rubber sentiments. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety fell to Rs 170/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 171/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety remained unchanged at Rs 166/ kg.
