Physical Rubber prices witnessed weakness on Monday due to panic selling from traders following worries of accelerated spread of Omicron corona-virus variant, while continued steep rise in the arrivals against a sharp drop in demand for the commodity also adding pressure on prices.
Spot prices for RSS-4 variety fell to Rs 163/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 166/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety declined to Rs 160/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 163/ kg.
