Copper futures traded lower on Monday following lingering concerns over rising inflation, while signs of volatility in riskier assets also weighed on metal prices. However, weaker dollar and supply disruption fears from Europe supported base metals and capped further fall in prices.
Copper futures for March delivery fell $0.0175 or 0.39% at $4.4460 a pound on the Comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange.
