Physical Rubber prices witnessed firmness on Saturday due to improved demand at domestic spot market. Although, increased tapping of trees and worries of accelerated spread of Omicron corona-virus variant capped further gains in rubber prices.
Spot prices for RSS-4 variety gained to Rs 165/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 164/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety rose to Rs 161/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 160/ kg.
