The FIIs as per Tuesday’s data were net buyers in equity, while net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 6106.70 crore against gross selling of Rs 3790.11 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 2316.59 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 259.55 crore against gross selling of Rs 479.85 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 220.30 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 1.21 crore against gross selling of Rs 4.06 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 2.85 crore in hybrid segment.
