Physical Rubber prices witness weakness on Thursday

Physical Rubber prices witnessed weakness on Thursday due to buyer resistance along with profit booking at higher levels. Further, worries of accelerated spread of Omicron corona-virus variant also weighed down rubber prices. Although, unexpected drop in arrivals in the market capped further fall in rubber prices.

Spot prices for RSS-4 variety fell to Rs 163/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 165.50/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety declined to Rs 160/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 161.50/ kg.
