FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per January 7 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Friday’s data were net sellers in equity segment, while net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 6607.37 crore against gross selling of Rs 8304.41 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1697.04 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 408.12 crore with gross sales of Rs 100.45 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 307.67 crore in debt.

In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 17.65 crore against gross selling of Rs 16.19 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1.46 crore in hybrid segment.
