Asian Markets trade higher in early deals on Monday

Most of the Asian equity benchmarks traded higher in early deals on Monday, though most of the indices opened in red with the caution ahead to release of US inflation data, which is a key factor in Fed’s decision on interest rate hike. MSCI's broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares outside Japan was near flat. Stock market of japan in closed for a holiday. Hang seng is the performer in the session with rally in technological stocks. Among the Asian stocks, Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Taiwan and Malaysia were in positive note. Bucking the trend South Korea, is trading lower.

Straight times lifted by 23.77 points or 0.74% to 3,229.03, Hang Seng rose by 193.72 points or 0.82% to 23,687.10, Taiwan Weighted climbed by 58.32 points or 0.32% to 18,228.08, Jakarta Composite lifted by 15.56 points or 0.23% to 6,716.88, Shanghai Composite buoyed by 8.86 points or 0.25% to 3,588.40 and FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI higher by 13.06 points or 0.62% to 2,083.42.

On the flip side, KOSPI down by 29.11 points or 0.99% to 2,925.78.
