Infosys gains on reporting 12% rise in Q3 consolidated net profit

Infosys is currently trading at Rs. 1894.15, up by 16.55 points or 0.88% from its previous closing of Rs. 1877.60 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1882.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1912.00 and Rs. 1877.60 respectively. So far 246185 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1914.00 on 03-Jan-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1230.00 on 24-Feb-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1912.00 and Rs. 1800.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 789646.83 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 13.12%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 49.12% and 20.02% respectively.

Infosys has reported a rise of 15.48% in its net profit at Rs 5,870 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 5,083 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 23.55% at Rs 28,350 crore for Q3FY22 as compared Rs 22,946 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a rise of 11.64% in its net profit at Rs 5,822 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 5,215 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 22.01% at Rs 32,379 crore for Q3FY22 as compared Rs 26,538 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
