FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per January 18 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Tuesday’s data were net sellers in equity segment, while net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 6312.37 crore against gross selling of Rs 6555.97 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 243.60 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 870.63 crore against gross selling of Rs 443.27 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 427.36 crore in debt.

In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 26.62 crore against gross selling of Rs 33.77 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 7.15 crore in hybrid segment.
