Hindustan Aeronautics rises on signing contract with Government of Mauritius

Hindustan Aeronautics is currently trading at Rs. 1437.10, up by 3.85 points or 0.27% from its previous closing of Rs. 1433.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1438.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1447.50 and Rs. 1413.95 respectively. So far 33968 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1568.45 on 18-Oct-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 884.00 on 28-Jan-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1447.50 and Rs. 1312.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 47681.99 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 75.15%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 21.40% and 3.45% respectively.

Hindustan Aeronautics has signed a contract with the Government of Mauritius for export of one Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH Mk-III) for the island nation’s police force. With this contract, the company and the Government of Mauritius, which already operates an HAL-built ALH and Dornier-228 aircraft, have further strengthened the long-standing business relations spanning over three decades. The ALH Mk-III is a multi-role, multi-mission versatile helicopter in 5.5 tonne category.

Hindustan Aeronautics is Bengaluru based Defence Public Sector Undertakings (DPSU) Company engaged in the design, development, manufacture, repair, overhaul, upgrade and servicing of a wide range of products including, aircraft, helicopters, aero-engines, avionics, accessories and aerospace structures.
