Biocon reports 18% rise in Q3 consolidated net profit

Biocon has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2021.

The company has reported a fall of 22.73% in its net profit at Rs 25.50 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 33 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 4.06% at Rs 509.70 crore for Q3FY22 as compared Rs 489.80 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a rise of 17.68% in its net profit at Rs 219.60 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 186.60 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 17.88% at Rs 2222.50 crore for Q3FY22 as compared Rs 1885.30 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
