Ramkrishna Forgings has finalized setting up a press project with a total outlay estimate of about $97 million at Kolabira in Jamshedpur. This project is intended for manufacturing of forged and machined auto components such as Front Axel Beams, Crankshafts, Connecting rods and Stub Axles. The project will be financed through term loan amounting to $63 millions and through equity and internal accruals amounting to $34 millions.
Besides, the company has already tied up $14 million as term loan from International Finance Corporation and Rs 100 crore from Exim Bank for the above project. Further, the company is in advanced stage with other lenders and expects to make an entire tie up for the terms loan shortly.
Ramkrishna Forgings undertakes turnkey development of forgings and stampings from raw samples. It also designs and develops special dies for customers. The company exports its products to Germany, USA, Mexico, Brazil, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Japan.
