Knowledge Marine & Engineering Works (KMEW) has received Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from Deendayal Port Trust, Government of India for 'Hiring of Service Boat for OOT, Vadinar for the period of 5 years' for a contract value of Rs 9.59 crore. The company started owning and operating vessels for government of India since 2017. KMEW will construct its Tenth Vessel to execute this order. The fleet will grow to 10 vessels within a time span of 5 years.

All the vessels are engaged in long term contracts with three domestic and one international Government of India Ports such as Kolkata Port Trust, Vishakhapatnam Port Trust, Deendayal Port Trust and Sittwe Port, Myanmar. Company is actively considering entering into a strategic MOU with a Goa based Shipyard for construction of future vessels for a competitive edge.
The company is engaged in the business of owning and operating of Marine Crafts for dredging along with repairs and maintenance/refits of Marine Crafts and Marine Infrastructure.
