Steel stocks move up as customs duty on stainless steel, flat products, high steel bars to be revoked

Steel stocks edged up on announcement of customs duty on stainless steel, flat products, high steel bars to be revoked. Also, customs duty exemption on steel scrap to be extended for another year for small- and medium-sized businesses

Tata Steel is currently trading at Rs. 1137.05, up by 51.60 points or 4.75% from its previous closing of Rs. 1085.45 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 1110.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1140.95 and Rs. 1086.60 respectively.

Steel Authority of India is currently trading at Rs. 101.60, up by 3.20 points or 3.25% from its previous closing of Rs. 98.40 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 99.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 101.60 and Rs. 98.15 respectively.

JSW Steel is currently trading at Rs. 641.25, up by 12.05 points or 1.92% from its previous closing of Rs. 629.20 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 635.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 644.90 and Rs. 628.05 respectively.
