Bajaj Consumer Care declines on reporting 33% fall in Q3 consolidated net profit

Bajaj Consumer Care is currently trading at Rs. 179.95, down by 7.45 points or 3.98% from its previous closing of Rs. 187.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 186.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 186.90 and Rs. 179.50 respectively. So far 87943 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 323.50 on 19-Apr-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 177.05 on 25-Jan-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 189.80 and Rs. 179.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2655.72 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 38.04%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 33.50% and 28.46% respectively.

Bajaj Consumer Care has reported a fall of 31.24% in its net profit at Rs 40.04 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 58.23 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 7.17% at Rs 238.10 crore for Q3FY22 as compared Rs 256.48 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a fall of 32.98% in its net profit at Rs 38.40 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 57.30 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 7.48% at Rs 238.34 crore for Q3FY22 as compared Rs 257.61 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
