Bharat Dynamics, SJVN and CE Info systems to see some action today

Bharat Dynamics (BDL) and Indian Army have signed a contract worth Rs 3,131.82 crore for manufacture and supply of Konkurs - M AntiTank Guided Missiles to the Indian Army. The contract, which was signed at New Delhi, will be executed in three years. The order book position of BDL stands at Rs 11,400 crore (net) including the Konkurs-M contract.

SJVN has doubled its target of installed electricity generation capacity to 50,000 MW by 2040. The company has upgraded its Shared Vision to 5,000 MW by 2023, 25,000 MW by 2030 & 50,000 MW by 2040. This revision has resulted from addition of multiple projects in its portfolio and an already established repute of successfully operating & implementing Mega Hydro Projects in India & abroad. After hydro, the company has successfully added varied business verticals and forayed into thermal, solar, wind power generation, power transmission and power trading. Earlier, Vision of 5,000 MW installed capacity by 2023, 12,000 MW by 2025 & 25,000 MW by 2040 was formulated and set out 31st Raising Day of SJVN on May 24, 2018.

CE Info systems, which operates under the MapmyIndia brand, is planning to acquire 9.9 per cent stake in geospatial company Pupilmesh for about Rs 49 lakh. The company expects the acquisition to support its business opportunity in the area of navigation. The company requires no government approval for the acquisition and expects the transaction to be completed in a month. The board of the company had approved the acquisition on January 27.

Cupid has received an allocation for 2022- 2023 from the South African Government for supply of Male Condoms worth around Rs 31.94 crore and Female condoms worth around Rs 68.70 crore.

Entering the new year with yet another high sales performance, WardWizard Innovations and Mobility has sold 3,951 units in January 2022. Blue Star has reported a rise of 29.37% in its net profit at Rs 47.57 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 36.77 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 34.24% at Rs 1519.60 crore for Q3FY22 as compared Rs 1131.98 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
