Physical rubber prices improved on Wednesday with moderate gains in the domestic and international commodity futures.
Spot prices for RSS-4 variety improved to Rs 164/ kg compared to its previous close of Rs 162/ kg, while RSS-5 variety closed at Rs 158/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 156/ kg.
In the futures market, contract of December delivery recovered to Rs 166.20 compared to its previous closing of Rs 164.76, while January delivery closed at Rs 168.05 compared to its previous closing of Rs 166.92 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
