Copper futures traded lower on Monday on account of investors enlarged positions, as the US dollar strengthened following upbeat US jobs data that bolstered the case for interest rate hikes by the US Federal Reserve.
Copper futures for March delivery lost $0.0100 or 0.22% at $4.4775 a pound on the Comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange.
