Physical Rubber prices witness some improvement on Tuesday

Physical Rubber prices witnessed some improvement on Tuesday due to lower production expectations for natural rubber below target in FY22. While, Commerce Ministry has proposed repealing decades-old laws pertaining to rubber and introducing new legislation in order to promote the growth of sector and create a business-friendly environment.

Spot prices for RSS-4 variety unchanged at its previous closing of Rs 166/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety gained to Rs 163.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 163/ kg.
