Physical Rubber prices witness weakness on Wednesday

Physical Rubber prices witnessed weakness on Wednesday as major consuming industries stayed back possibly to avoid a sharp rise in prices. Meanwhile, Ministry of Commerce and Industry has further extended the time limit for submitting the views/ comments/ suggestions on the proposed Rubber (Promotion and Development) Bill 2022 till March 9.

Spot prices for RSS-4 variety fell to Rs 165.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 166/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety declined to Rs 163/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 163.50/ kg.
