Fertiliser stocks spurt on clearance of urea policy

Fertiliser companies are trading sanguine ever since the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) approved the long pending urea investment policy that will incentives setting up of new fertiliser plants and expansion of existing ones. The policy is aimed at reducing import dependence, and simplified procedures for award of road projects faster.

Fertilisers & Chemicals Travancore (FACT) is currently trading at Rs 32.20, up by 4.60 points or 16.67% from its previous closing of Rs 27.60 on the BSE.The scrip opened at Rs 30.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs 32.85 and Rs 29.75 respectively. So far 132166 shares were traded on the counter.

National Fertilizers is currently trading at Rs 78.95, up by 1.95 points or 2.53% from its previous closing of Rs 77.00 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs 79.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs 81.25 and Rs 78.45 respectively. So far 77781 shares were traded on the counter.

Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers is currently trading at Rs 56.05, up by 1.55 points or 2.84% from its previous closing of Rs 54.50 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs 55.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs 57.50 and Rs 55.40 respectively. So far 479063 shares were traded on the counter.

Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals is currently trading at Rs 69.10, up by 0.90 points or 1.32% from its previous closing of Rs 68.20 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs 69.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs 71.90 and Rs. 68.60 respectively. So far 379690 shares were traded on the counter.
