Explaining the matters discussed during Pakistan’s Interior Minister Rehman Malik's three-day visit to India, Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde said that it was made clear to Malik that Pakistan was yet to act to bring the masterminds of the 26/11 to justice, in which Hafiz Saeed was one the main perpetrators.

Shinde's response came after Opposition MPs demanded an explanation as to why the Home Minister did not react to Malik's statements during his visit to India. According to Shinde, Malik was misinformed about the actual reasons for the arrest of Saeed whom India blames as the main conspirator in the 26/11 attacks. However, it was agreed that an Indian team will visit Pakistan so that the judicial commission can come here at the earliest.

Further, Shinde added that Pakistan has to ensure full co-operation in arrest of 1993 Mumbai blasts mastermind Dawood Ibrahim, who is said to control activities from Karachi. Rehman Malik, during his India visit blamed Indian agencies for failing to prevent the 26/11 Mumbai attack and called the attack's accused Abu Jundal an Indian agent.
